THE ONLY NUMBER YOU NEED FOR SERVICING AND REPAIRS IN BRIGHTON

PLEASE DO NOT USE THE LANDLINE NUMBER

The Motorcycle Centre was founded in 2000 by Graham Banfield and Ian Fitzgerald, two well-respected and experienced mechanics from Brighton. The aim was to provide a clean, modern workshop for motorcyclists and set up a main, independent MOT centre. They quickly built up a good reputation with customers and fellow traders alike. In October 2003 Graham decided to retire to France (alright for some!) and the motorcycle centre was taken over by Craig Fordham, a 35 year old mechanic originally from Luton who has been fixing and riding bikes since his early teens.

Craig started working on bikes from a young age and went into a full time career nearly 16 years ago. Attending college on a weekly day release basis he gained his City & Guild parts 1&2 in motorcycle service and repair moving around the country and moving from one dealership to another he attended many manufacturer’s courses and attended the prestigious Soundwell College in Bristol where he gained a NVQ level 3 as well as a BTEC National Diploma in motorcycle engineering.

Having worked at some of the largest and best known motorcycle garages in the UK as well as the race tracks, Craig has gained a wealth of experience in a large range of makes and models and constantly reads manuals and magazines to keep on top of current events in the motorcycling world.

Craig has kicked The Motorcycle Centre into the 21st Century and provides full workshop facilities to the many varied bikers in the Brighton area. Building on the existing reputation of the motorcycle centre he  has brought in many new features and services, from supplying and fitting tyres to alarm systems and Ohlins suspension units as well as keeping full computerised records and a much wider range of parts and accessories as well as the latest testing and diagnostic equipment.

The Motorcycle Centre is regarded by many as one of the modernist , cleanest workshops in the area.

Sadly in 2009 the decision was taken to close down the workshop due to various reasons inclusing the current economic climate, however Craig will still be able to look after a lot of his customers in the east sussex are by offering a mobile service to them
